THEY SAY IF YOU CAN DREAM IT, FUND IT AND BUILD IT, THEY WILL COME!

Symphony in The Barn has been entertaining audiences and enriching the cultural experience in nature since 1985, with it’s unique blend of live symphony, opera, multimedia performance and a rich tapestry of fresh food and farm life. Now, with ideas to expand those experiences, Symphony In The Barn is developing a new and exciting venture from the farm near Durham, Ontario. The AgriCULTURE!

With a new concept of live performance experiences in nature, Symphony in the Barn plans to build a dynamic, multimedia performance venue. With barn style construction, it will have an open concept, circular timber shape and all the amenities to meet existing building, accessibility and environmental codes. Symphony, Opera, Jazz, Blues and Theatre will all find a stage here that will entertain the locals from the neighbouring areas and be shared with the world through live streaming. And there will be exciting opportunities for businesses and agencies to engage and interact at The Meeting Place and Conference Centre.

The new Centre for Performance and AgriCulture will be ECO friendly, utilizing geo-thermal heating, solar power energy and progressive construction methods.

Symphony in The Barn will foster the cooperation of community, business and government agencies and provide much needed local jobs. Here will be an environment of creativity, spirituality connected to nature and wholesome food with learning opportunities in many aspects of media and pereformance.

Some of the key points of this New AgriCULTURAL Venture:

• Eco Friendly Construction
• 500 Seat venue, with outdoor support and overflow
• Modern sound, lighting and media facilities
• Live Streaming of events and conferences to the World
